Free course of workshops open to everyone

Yorkshire West Indian Culturama Carnival Network is pleased to announce a free course of carnival costume making workshops for 2018. Come along to a workshop and learn how to make carnival costumes, flags and banners. Everyone is welcome. The workshop schedule is as follows:

You will learn wire bending skills used in costume making and how to use tools central to the art of crafting. We will show you how to make use of colours, while turning your own ideas into new creations.

The free of charge workshops will be beneficial to anyone in the local community interested in carnivals or costume making. Please join in and learn something new.
