Pop-Up Soca & Calypso Singing

The YWICCN popup Soca & Calypso singing project was conceived in the community when our portable PA system was used to encourage and engage passers-by to have a singalong or take the mic and sing their favourite Soca or Calypso tune. YWICCN have performed three of popup Soca & Calypso sessions. Having had positive feedback, we aim to use the medium to educate the general public about diversity via Eastern Caribbean traditional music.
